Massey to debut Valvoline NextGen look in Atlanta

Spencer Massey’s Top Fuel dragster will compete in its third color of the young 2011 NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series season during the 31st annual Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Southern Nationals, where he will debut a unique Valvoline NextGen/Fram paint scheme in which green is the dominant color and theme.

NextGen motor oil, which Valvoline introduced last month, is a 50/50 blend of recycled and “fresh” motor oil, an obvious environmental savings.

“I’m proud to wear the NextGen green,” said the 28-year-old Fort Worth, Texas, native. “This is a great product, which helps reduce the amount of oil needed for motor vehicles. It is an oil for your cars and trucks, but I know it has been tested in the Don Schumacher Racing Top Fuel dragsters and Funny Cars, where it performs like ‘normal’ motor oil.”
